Meet Dr. Linda Kerata

Healthy Smiles for the Whole Family

I am energized by my profession. Being a dentist is more than fixing a tooth; it’s about connecting with people, becoming part of their lives, and building lasting relationships. Each of my patients is important to me as a person, and I respect each one of them for who they are.

During visits, I spend a lot of time simply listening to patients. Whether they’re telling me about their day, talking about their family or latest trip, or letting me know they’re worried about a procedure, I listen without judging. I want my patients to feel safe in my hands, so they understand that I am here to help them and I want them to smile when they think of their visits.

I enjoy serving our diverse community and caring for the smiles of everyone in the family. Providing a fun first dental visit for a child, restoring an adult’s oral health and smile, or relieving a patient of dental pain, are important. I am able to improve the quality of life of my patients by giving them confidence in their smiles, as well as teaching them how to keep that smile healthy. I can’t imagine a more rewarding way to spend my days!

My Team and Our Practice

My team members are why our practice is successful. Each is experienced, talented, and passionate about dental care. Each is also compassionate and gentle, and genuinely cares about our patients as people. They go out of their way to ensure every patient knows they are appreciated, respected, and that we are here to help.

My Education and Commitment to Continuing Education

My Doctorate of Dental Surgery was awarded by The Ohio State University. That education provided me with an excellent foundational knowledge of oral healthcare. However, dentistry is constantly evolving and I must stay current on those changes.

Advances in techniques, along with new technologies and materials, mean better care for my patients. By participating in continuing education, I’m up to date on developments and able to provide patients with the highest quality of care. I’m an active member of the Greenbriar Southwest Study Club and also attend the Chicago Dental Society’s annual session. I’ve completed many hands-on classes and studied oral surgery, aesthetic/cosmetic dentistry, oral pathology, and laser dentistry.

Beyond the Office

After growing up in Springfield, I’ve lived in Middleburg Heights for almost 30 years. When I’m not working, I’m usually with my husband, our dog, and three adult children. I enjoy traveling and love reading. I also enjoy attending Cleveland Pops Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra concerts.

I believe in giving back so I volunteer at the Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland. I’ve also participated in dental mission trips, to help those who do not have regular access to dental care.
